Ascend Marketing Ltd is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this website, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.

What we collect

We may collect the following information:

  • name and job title
  • contact information including email address
  • demographic information such as postcode, preferences and interests
  • other information relevant to customer surveys and/or offers

What we do with the information we gather

We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and in particular for the following reasons:

  • Internal record keeping.
  • We may use the information to improve our products and services.
  • We may periodically send promotional emails about new products, special offers or other information which we think you may find interesting using the email address which you have provided.
  • From time to time, we may also use your information to contact you for market research purposes. We may contact you by email, phone, fax or mail. We may use the information to customise the website according to your interests.

Website assistant and chat reporting

Updated 4 October 2026. The website assistant provides automated answers to questions about our services. Messages you send and recent conversation context are processed by OpenAI to generate answers. Please do not include sensitive information. AI answers may contain errors.

Ascend Marketing Ltd saves chat messages, responses, feedback, links clicked within the assistant, the page where the chat started and a broad mobile or desktop device category. We use these records to review enquiries, understand common questions and improve the assistant. Chat reporting records are kept for up to 90 days from the start of the conversation and are restricted to an authenticated private dashboard. Active chat sessions expire after 30 minutes. The assistant does not require an AI request until you send a question.

When you start a chat and receive a reply, we email your first question and the page where the chat started to our team so they can review it and follow up where appropriate. You do not need to provide contact details to chat. The full conversation is available in our authenticated private dashboard, where chat reporting records are kept for up to 90 days from the start of the conversation. Email copies of chat alerts are kept separately only for as long as needed to review and follow up the conversation.

If you choose “Ask the team”, we ask for your name, email address and permission to send your question and recent chat to a member of the team. This information is also included in the private reporting record. Email correspondence is separate from the 90-day chat reporting record. Asking the team for help does not subscribe you to marketing emails.

Our website is hosted by SiteGround. The private dashboard is hosted using OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare. The AI integration disables API response storage; provider security retention may still apply. Chat reporting does not store raw IP addresses, and website page query strings are not included in reporting.

For questions about your chat information or to request access, correction or deletion, email get-started@ascendmarketingltd.com. You can use the contact page or WhatsApp instead of the AI assistant.

Security

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

How we use cookies

Updated 3 October 2026. Essential cookies support the site and remember your cookie choices. Optional analytics and advertising cookies are off until you accept them. You can use the assessment and contact the team without accepting optional cookies.

With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand visits and successful form submissions. We use the Meta Pixel to measure Facebook and Instagram advertising and build audiences, such as visitors who have not completed the assessment. Google and Meta may process information about your browser, device, page visits and identifiers such as your IP address. Our tracking does not intentionally send your name, email address, assessment answers or score to these services. Names, email addresses and assessment results provided through our forms are handled separately for the result and email service described when you sign up.

You can accept or reject optional cookies in the banner. To change or withdraw your choice, use Cookie settings on the website. This affects future tracking; it does not automatically delete information already collected. You can also manage cookies in your browser.
